Choosing an event and reasons for choice Potencial events: -Brownie sale: -Coffee morning -Sixth form open evening Brownie sale: For this event, the students would organise an event to make brownies and sell them in school every break and lunch break during a whole week to other students in order to raise money for charity. Even though the money raised may not be that much we believe that it will cause a positive impact on local charities. Students would split into 7 teams for all the 7 buildings in Crown Woods, including The Crown building, Arden, William Morris, Ashdown, Symphony, Delemere, Sherwood, so they can sell as much as they can. Coffee morning: The coffee morning is something similar to the brownie sale in terms of purpose and organisation; the purpose of the coffee morning is to raise money for positive causes such as helping local charities by selling coffee to a selected target. The organisers of the event have come to the conclusion that selling coffee to students in arden and teachers is more suitable considering their age. This is important as there will be more funds by selling the coffee to an appropriate public. The buildings where more coffee will be available for teachers and students are the arden building and the crown building as there are more of them in these buildings. Sixth form open event: The sixth form open event will be an event organised by a group of sixth formers that volunteered to do it. The purpose of this event is to inform parents and potential students how the school works and all the programs Crown Woods has to offer; this includes courses, location of the buildings such as the main hall and the cafeteria. Parents and kids will have the opportunity to go to each classroom and talk to all the teachers from all different subjects where they can get advice and ask any questions so they can make a decision in terms of what course would be more suitable for them. Parents and kids can also ask current students what they do at the school as well as what they have experienced so far. Purpose
