1. How can I help you today? Ugly rash on my upper thighs

2. Have you been having fevers? No

3. When did your rash start? I first noticed symptoms maybe a day and a half ago.

Maybe 36hrs or so.

4. Did you have any other problems two to four days before the rash started? Not

that I remember. I was out and about exploring a new location with my BF. We

stayed at this really cool Airbnb in Napa Valley.

5. What are the events surrounding the start of your rash? Went to Napa area past

weekend with BF. Did some hiking. We sort of lost the trail and wound up bush

whacking through some woods and brush to get back. It was pretty war, 98

degrees, so I was wearing shorts, a tank top, sneakers, and no socks. We had a

nice dinner with special treats I don’t ever have and enjoyed some time in the hot

tub together. Then maybe 24hrs later my symptoms started. Now maybe 12hrs

after that I have a big mess of a rash.

6. Is your rash painful or itchy? Itchy, skin was itchy before rash. Now it is tender,

bit swollen.

7. On what part of your body did the rash start and where did it spread? Started on

inner thighs, that’s when first noticed it. Now its on my left inner forearm too.

8. Have you had rashes like this before? Bad rash as a child, allergic to Ceclor. A

series of bumps that were itchy from Europe. Bed bug bites.

9. Did you have a cough, runny nose, and red eyes before this rash? Nope
